The recreational areas and land- and route-based facilities of Uit®waarde are public domain. We maintain them as sustainably and qualitatively as possible and expand them wherever possible. In addition, we advise private and public parties and develop recreational and tourism infrastructure, including its construction, operation, management and maintenance.

Uit®waarde treats your data confidentially. Your personal data is handled and secured with the utmost care. Your personal data will only be provided to third parties if this is necessary based on a processing agreement, for the provision of services, with your consent, or pursuant to a legal obligation.

Uit®waarde obtains personal data because you provide it to us, for example through the website, by email or by telephone. In addition, Uit®waarde may obtain your personal data from third parties in the context of its services.

We request the following data from you:

Volunteers:
name, address details, telephone number, email address, date of birth, passport photo (for which consent will be requested), volunteer agreement, Omedi medical examination result, IBAN, copies of boating licences and VHF certificates, CV, clothing sizes (for company clothing)

Parking subscription holders:
name, address details, email address

Uit®waarde processes personal data in order to perform an agreement concluded with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or on the basis of a legitimate interest of Uit®waarde. If personal data is processed on the basis of consent, this consent will be explicitly requested.

Uit®waarde processes your personal data for, among other things, the following purposes:
– carrying out an assignment / fulfilling an agreement
– establishing and maintaining contact
– providing good and efficient services
– customer database management
– invoicing
– compliance with legal obligations

Uit®waarde may use the services of third parties for the purposes stated above. In that context, personal data may be provided to third parties, but only where necessary for the execution of the assignment. These third parties may only process your personal data for the purposes mentioned above and solely within the framework of the assignment provided to them by us. A data processing agreement is always concluded with third parties that process personal data.

Your personal data may also be provided to third parties if Uit®waarde is required to comply with a legal obligation. Uit®waarde will not provide your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Uit®waarde will not process your personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes stated in this privacy statement. This means that your personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to achieve the relevant purposes. In accordance with legal retention obligations, Uit®waarde retains your personal data for seven years (fiscal retention obligation).

If you submit a job application to Uit®waarde, your data will be retained for four weeks if no interview or employment follows. Upon request, Uit®waarde may retain your data for one year for potential future vacancies or other positions. You must give explicit consent for this.

If you do not renew your parking subscription, we will retain your data for an additional two years. After these two years, all your data will be removed from our system.

Uit®waarde considers it important that your personal data is protected against loss or unauthorised access. Therefore, Uit®waarde has implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures.

The social media buttons on the website are included to enable pages to be shared via the social media networks Twitter, Google, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. If you click on these buttons, your personal data will be processed by the relevant social media network. Please read the privacy statements of Facebook, Google, Instagram and Twitter to see how these networks handle your personal data.

You have the right to submit a request to Uit®waarde for access to your personal data. After receiving your request, you will receive an overview of your personal data within four weeks. If this overview contains inaccuracies, you may request that your data be corrected, supplemented, deleted or restricted.

To prevent misuse of the above rights, we ask you to identify yourself when submitting your request. You must include a valid proof of identity with your request. Please ensure that your citizen service number (BSN) and passport photo are obscured on the copy. You may, for example, use the Dutch government’s “KopieID” app for this purpose.

If you have a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data by Uit®waarde, please let us know. If we are unable to resolve the matter together, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
