General Terms and Conditions

I GENERAL
Access to the parking areas
1.1 All parking areas operated by B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied are subject to a parking fee, unless otherwise determined by B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied.
1.2 Parking areas operated by B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied may only be used by motorcycles, passenger cars and commercial vehicles with a maximum length of 5 metres, and only within designated parking spaces. Caravans are not permitted to enter the parking areas. In certain cases, B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied may make exceptions if the functionality of the site changes in connection with an event being held.
1.3 B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied is entitled to refuse access to any vehicle if it considers this desirable, taking into account the principles of reasonableness and fairness. This may particularly apply where B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied knows or suspects that a vehicle may cause damage to the surroundings in the broadest sense.
1.4 Vehicles parked on the parking areas must comply with the same requirements as vehicles parked on public roads (including third-party liability insurance, etc.). The Dutch Road Traffic Act (Wegenverkeerswet) and the Traffic Rules and Traffic Signs Regulations (Reglement Verkeersregels en Verkeerstekens) also apply on and around the parking areas.

II USE OF THE PARKING AREAS
Rules
1.1 While present on the parking area, the parker must comply with the provisions of the Dutch Road Traffic Act, the regulations established pursuant to that Act, the Traffic Rules and Traffic Signs Regulations and the associated annexes, as well as any additional regulations issued pursuant thereto. Failure to comply shall render the parker personally liable for any resulting damage.
1.2 The parker is also obliged to follow any instructions given by parking area personnel, to park the vehicle in the designated or indicated location, and to behave in such a manner that traffic in and around the parking areas is not obstructed and safety is not endangered.
1.3 Parking area personnel are authorised, where they deem it necessary, to move vehicles within the parking areas and/or to remove or arrange for the removal of any vehicle from the parking areas, without this giving rise to any liability on the part of the operator or its personnel. In assessing the necessity of moving or removing a vehicle, personnel must act reasonably and with due care.

Nuisance and restrictions on use
2.1 It is not permitted to sell, offer for sale, rent out or offer for rent any goods in or on the parking areas.
2.2 It is not permitted to bring explosive, flammable or otherwise dangerous and/or harmful substances onto the parking areas, with the exception of motor fuel contained in the normal fuel tank of a vehicle.
2.3 It is not permitted to carry out or arrange for repairs or any other work on a vehicle within the parking areas, unless explicit permission has been granted by parking management.
2.4 The parker must ensure that no nuisance or inconvenience is caused to users of nearby premises/offices or to other users of the parking areas.
2.5 The parker must ensure that no pollution of any kind is caused to the parking areas. Waste must be disposed of in the designated facilities.
2.6 Occupants of vehicles parked on the parking areas are not permitted to remain in the vehicle longer than necessary to park it. Once the vehicle has been parked, the occupants must leave both the vehicle and the section of the parking area intended solely for parking.

III Liability
Liability
1.1 The parking areas are not supervised. B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied therefore accepts no liability whatsoever for damage to, theft of, or loss of property and possessions belonging to the parker. Furthermore, B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied accepts no liability for any damage to the parker’s property, nor for personal injury and/or any other damage, whether direct or indirect, caused by or resulting from the use of the parking area, unless such damage has been directly caused by the operator and/or parking area personnel, insofar as such liability is not excluded elsewhere in these General Terms and Conditions. The term “parker” shall also include other occupants of the vehicle.
1.2 The parker is liable for all damage caused by them. Damage caused by the parker to the parking areas or related equipment shall be recovered from the relevant parker.
IV Refunds
1.0 Parking and access tickets are valid only on the date selected by the purchaser during the online booking process and stated on the ticket. Once the booking has been completed, the selected date cannot be changed. Refunds and/or amendments are not possible.
1.1 B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied reserves the right to change opening days and/or opening hours.
1.2 In the interest of visitor safety, B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied reserves the right to close in the event of emergencies. This also applies to online tickets. B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied accepts no liability for any travel or related costs incurred.
1.3 If B.V. Recreatiemaatschappij Rivierengebied is unable to fulfil its obligations due to force majeure, no right to a refund shall arise. This also means that no weather guarantee can be provided for the day selected by the visitor.
